The U.S. Postal Service has renewed its lease for the Kew Gardens Post Office on Austin Street.

Congresswoman Grace Meng announced Tuesday that the lease for the 83-30 Austin St. location has been renewed for five years from Aug. 1, 2021 to July 31, 2026.

The existing lease is set to expire on July 31, 2021.

Queens Congresswoman Grace Meng, who represents Forest Hills, Kew Gardens and Elmhurst, wants to support the roughly 13,000 small business owners across the city who are operating independent grocery stores, bodegas and ethnic markets.
