Congressional App Challenge

The Congressional App Challenge (CAC) is a public competition that encourages students to learn how to code and further their STEM education. Winners of the Challenge will be recognized by their Member of Congress and invited to the #HouseofCode Capitol Hill Reception in Washington, D.C. Their work will be eligible to be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building and featured on the House of Representatives’ website.

Eligible Participants: You must be a resident or student at a middle school or high school in New York's 6th Congressional District at the time of app submission. No prior coding experience is required. Additionally, a student may enter as an individual or as a member of a team of up to four members. If competing as a team, at least half of the team must be eligible.
