Meng to Hold Town Hall on November 2nd

QUEENS, NY – U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-Queens) announced today that she will hold a town hall meeting on Saturday, November 2, 2019 on the campus of Queens College. The event, to be held in conjunction with One Queens Indivisible, will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Benjamin Rosenthal Library building. It will be open to the public and media.
"I am excited to hold this upcoming town hall meeting and I encourage my constituents to attend," said Meng.

Grace Meng (D-NY), a member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security, announced today that she sent a letter to Acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan to demand answers on the appalling treatment of children at the border, including the deprivation of menstrual hygiene products for detained girls.
The letter comes in response to a lawsuit filed by 19 states and the District of Columbia about the Department of Homeland Security's treatment of migrant children in its custody.
