U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-Queens) announced today that she has been selected to serve on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
The panel oversees United States foreign policy towards all nations around the world, and has jurisdiction over foreign aid and the State Department. It also has oversight towards key international organizations such as the United Nations.
“I am privileged and honored to have been awarded a spot on one of the most important and influential committees in the House of Representatives,” said Meng.
