Meng's legislative Lunar New Year package includes the Lunar New Year Day Act which would establish Lunar New Year as the 12th federal holiday recognized across the United States.

This Community Project Funding is money that was included in the new government spending package which passed the House this afternoon after being approved by the Senate on Thursday. The legislation now heads to President Biden's desk and is expected to be signed into law.
