Grace Meng (D-Queens) announced today that she visited Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy in Bayside for the unveiling of a lockdown system and new fortified infrastructure that the school installed with funds the Congresswoman helped secure to better protect those in the building.

The resolution recognizes the impact that the stigmatization of menstruation has on the lives of women, girls, and people who menstruate, and expresses support for the designation of May as National Menstrual Health Awareness Month.

Grace Meng (D-NY), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Henry Cuellar (D-TX), and Marc Molinaro (R-NY) reintroduced the Autism Family Caregivers Act, a bipartisan bill that would provide access to caregiver skills training for family members who care for children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities or delays.
