QUEENS, NY – U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-Queens) today hailed plans to install elevators at the Murray Hill Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) station in Flushing.
Under the initiative, the LIRR will install two new elevators to make the station compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

"I am glad that Walmart did the right thing and pulled a third-party seller's Kids ‘China Boy' Costume from its website after I contacted the company to express my disappointment about it.

Grace Meng (D-Queens) today sent a letter to the United States Postal Service (USPS) urging it to replace all postal collection boxes in Queens with new anti-theft boxes in order to combat mail fishing, a growing mail theft crime throughout the borough in which thieves "fish" mail out of blue collection boxes.

Three Queens Congress members on Tuesday sent a letter to Postmaster General Megan Brennan, calling on her to address "ongoing and serious mail delivery problems in Queens."
"These inadequate delivery standards existed even before Winter Storm Grayson, and they are frankly unacceptable," the members said in a Jan. 23 letter, which was signed by Reps.
