WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-NY) today called on President Trump to provide details on how and when his administration will reunify families who were separated at the border.
"The President failed to include in his executive order any explanation on how and when to reunite the estimated 2,300 children who were taken away from their parents and I'm deeply troubled and dismayed that a day after he signed it, there is still no clear plan to reunite families," said Meng.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – As Queens and the rest of the nation prepare to observe Memorial Day, U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-Queens) announced today that the House of Representatives passed several measures she authored which provide needed assistance to members of the military.
Meng's provisions include six separate amendments that were attached to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the legislation that sets funding levels and policies for the U.S. Department of Defense for fiscal year 2019.

QUEENS, NY – After urging the New York City Department of Education (DOE) to create dual language programs in South Asian languages, U.S. Reps. Grace Meng (D-Queens) and Joe Crowley (D-Queens/Bronx), Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, announced today that the agency has taken concrete steps to develop this initiative in New York City public schools.
Beginning this September, the DOE will offer a dual language program in Bengali, which will be the first South Asian dual language program in New York City public schools.
