WASHINGTON, D.C. – As the nation prepares to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, the United States House of Representatives this afternoon passed legislation sponsored by U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-NY) that seeks to create the first national museum dedicated to preserving the history, culture, and accomplishments of Asian Pacific Americans.

QUEENS, NY – This afternoon, U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-Queens) held a special ceremony to honor the bravery and heroism of the Queens pizzeria owner and his dad who were stabbed while stopping a robbery in front of their establishment.
This past Saturday night, 38-year-old Louie Suljovic and his 68-year-old father Cazim were working inside their restaurant, Louie's Pizzeria in Elmhurst, and intervened when they saw a 61-year-old Asian women being attacked and robbed outside.
