Meng Opens New District Offices in Queens

August 16, 2013
U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-Queens) announced today that she has opened her new Queens district offices.
The offices, located on opposite ends of Meng’s district, include two locations: 32-26 Union Street in Flushing and 118-35 Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills. Both are full time, full service offices open five days a week.
“I am thrilled to announce the opening of my new district offices,” said Meng. “Constituents should know that we are open for business, and that we stand ready to help them with any problems they may have with the federal government or any of its agencies. I encourage all residents of the Sixth Congressional District to call or stop by either location if we can be of any assistance to them.”
In order to avoid spending her first few months in Congress looking for office space in the district, Meng had temporarily been using the Queens office of her predecessor Gary Ackerman while she searched for new office locations more central to the district.
The phone number for the Flushing office is 718-445-7860 and the Forest Hills office can be reached at 718-445-7861. Both are open Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
