Meng Issues statement on building collapse in Bangladesh

U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-Queens), a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement today on the tragic building collapse in Bangladesh:

"My thoughts and prayers are with those who perished and were injured in the tragic building collapse in Bangladesh and the rescuers still searching for survivors.

My heart goes out to the families who have lost loved ones. The Bangladeshi-American community in New York is resilient and I know they will be a much needed source of comfort for families during this difficult time."
