QUEENS, NY – U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-Queens) announced today that the City of New York is providing a mobile COVID-19 vaccination site in Flushing through Tuesday, May 4 outside the New York Housing Authority's (NYCHA) Bland Houses at 133-36 Roosevelt Avenue. Meng visited the location today after it opened for its first day where she spoke with vaccination site personnel and those receiving shots.
Operating times for the location are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The site is providing the Johnson and Johnson vaccine and interpreters are available at the location. Those receiving the vaccine must have ID with them.
"I thank the City for bringing this mobile site to Flushing and making the coronavirus vaccine more accessible to many of my constituents," said Meng. "Shots in arms are key to our recovery from the pandemic, and I continue to call on New Yorkers to get their vaccines."
